Hi all! I can’t believe it’s almost the end of Spring Break. Sharing my oldest daughter’s room updates and design on a budget. We recently made some changes to her room as she transitioned from a crib to a big girl bed! I am excited to share how I designed this toddler room on a budget!
If you can’t tell I love bright and and cheery rooms with soft pops of color! In my oldest daughter’s room we wanted a space that would transition well as she get’s older. I decided to do wall decals on the wall instead of wallpaper. It seriously took me 30-45 minutes to put them on the wall. I am so happy with how easy they were to install and how nice they look. My daughter also think’s they are amazing since she says, “she has stickers all over her room”! I decided to bring this mint dresser in her room that was previously in our playroom. This is one of my favorite pieces in the house. I refinished it in a color called Mint Gala. The adorable teepee is called the Elizabeth tent from Baby Klara.
I fell in love with this zippered bedding from Beddy’s. The comforter and sheet are one and you unzip to get in bed and zip up to make the bed. It fit’s on the bed like a fitted sheet. Seriously the best invention ever! My daughter can make her own bed in the morning! Which to me is amazing. Who doesn’t love a made bed? I paired her chic white bedding set with their blush pink blanket, it’s so soft and my daughter loves it!
We were able to save by doing wall decals instead of wallpaper. We also saved by purchasing the vintage dresser from a market for $125! The headboard is under $110! The wall decor was inexpensive as well. Overall we are so happy with how it came together and my daughter loves her newly updated room!
