I am so excited to share my daughter’s nursery. When I found out I was having another girl I was so excited!! The nursery I designed for my oldest daughter is more shabby chic which you can see here. I wanted to do something a little different this time. I utilized some traditional and modern pieces for a more transitional feel. My goal was to create a functional, fun, beautiful space for my daughter. I found this fun dresser that was in serious need of a new paint job at a local market. I decided to paint it a light peachy pink to give the room a fun pop of color against the white walls. The dresser is my favorite piece in the nursery!
We did wood molding painted in a bright white as an accent wall and painted the other walls the same white color to brighten up the room.
I found gold frames from West Elm for above the crib and glider with fun prints from Etsy which were an amazing bargain! I found the round mirror from Target for above the glider.
I decided to layer a jute rug with my sheepskin rug to add some additional texture and comfort in the space. Both of which I purchased from Amazon. I also added a wood bead chandelier from Pottery Barn Kids to add some additional soft lighting in the room.
I sewed on the trim to my curtains and was lucky enough to have my mom sew the crib skirt! I loved this simple buffalo check crib sheet from Dear Owen and thought it completed my space! I found this cute simple pink pillow from At Home.
Hope you have enjoyed my nursery reveal you can also view and vote for it on Project Nursery!

Where are the curtains from?
Hi Adira! The curtains are plain white ones from Pottery Barn that I added trim from JoAnn’s to.
Beautiful!! Can you share the exact link for that jute rug? The Amazon link above just takes me to amazons homepage. Thank you!!
Hi Erica! Thanks so much! Here is the link for the rug it is an amazing deal especially for the size!

I love how your nursery turned out! What Etsy shop are the X, O, and watercolor prints above the crib from?
Hi! Thanks so much Ariel! The shops on Etsy are Penny Jane Designs (big one in the middle) and LilaxLola.
May have missed it but what paint color did you use for the dresser? And where are the curtains from? Thanks! I love the room, so pretty!
Hi! Thanks so much!! I used Glidden Peach Daiquiri. Also the curtains are plain white ones from Pottery Barn that I added trim to.
What type of paint/finish did you use with the glidden paint? And did you put any clear coat sealant on after paint?? Love it!
Hi! Thanks so much! I used Benjamin Moore Advance paint and with no sealant afterwards. hope that helps!
What finish of paint did you use!? It’s wonderful! Was it regular wall paint? And did you put any poly coating on top?
Hi! I used an eggshell with no poly coating on top and it turned out great. I used a bright white paint, hope that helps!
What a gorgeous nursery! Where did you get the hardware for the dresser?
Thanks Amber!! It actually came with the dresser not sure if it is original since the dresser is really old!
Where is the crib from? I love the modern lines but it still plays so well into the traditional elements of the room. Would love to know!
Thanks Michelle! The crib is from Pottery Barn Kids.
Love the crib bedding so much! I ordered the sheet from dear Owen. Are you able to tell me where you got the skirt from as well? It goes so perfectly with the sheet. I would love to get the same one. Thank you. Also. Did you get a bumper for a when baby was a little older? Or do you have any suggestions of something that might look good with that sheet? Thank you!!!!
Hi Lisa! Oh so glad you love the bedding! So my mom actually sewed the crib skirt I just picked up white cotton fabric and then bought the trim from JoAnn’s it didn’t take her very long!
Sorry I hit send before I was done! So I didn’t get a bumper yet for when she is older but I will probably use a breathable white mesh one since I already have it! Depending on the colors you did in the nursery/crib would determine which one I would put in there. I would say probably a white one with some accent would look great!
LOVE this sweet room! Where is the jewelry stand that the head bows are hanging from? It’s exactly what I’ve been searching for for my little ones room. 🙂
Hi Kari! Thanks so much I actually got it from a local furniture store called The Potato Barn. It was originally rustic white and I sprayed it gold 🙂
Such a beautiful space! It has provided me with so much inspiration as I design my babies nursery, thank you:) I do have a silly question about the pictures above the crib, I was wondering if the middle is an 8×10 print/frame and two side frames/prints are 5×7 maybe?? I am so bad with proportion and want to do something very similar. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much!!! So we have 11×14 frames with 8×10 art and 18×25 frame with 16×20 art hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂
Could you please link the sheepskin rug there are so many options in Amazon and wanted to get the same size as the one you have?
Thank you so much!
Mayra
Hi Mayra! Here is the rug I ordered in 3×5 I absolutely love it! Its so soft. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Can you please share where you bought the lamp on the dresser? I’m looking for one just like it!
Thank you!
Hi Andrea! I actually bought it at Home Goods on clearance and I have seen some similar at Target.
Hi there! What white paint color did you choose for the walls?
Hi!! I used a generic bright white paint color I believe it was just an ultra white with no tint I will try and find the brand. Hope that helps!
Gorgeous room! Do you mind sharing where the glider is from? Thanks!
Hi! I purchased it off of Amazon -franklin & ben crescent glider.

Hi,
For the dresser paint in Peach Daiquiri… did you just have Benjamin Moore mix the color for you and then if so, which type of BJ Advance Paint did you use (Matte, Satin, Semi-gloss, etc)?
Thanks so much- that is quite possibly the PERFECT colored pink!
~Nicole

Hi again,
Did you buy your drapery rod from PB? And if so, did you choose the .75″ diameter or the larger 1.25″ diameter?
Thanks so much, again!
Feeling inspired,
Nicole
Hi Nicole!! It is actually umbra kappa hardware in brass you can find it on Amazon.
Ok- thanks! I only see the brass in the longer length rod- not the brushed brass. Which one did you use?

So sorry if you already told anyone this, but I’m very interested in the wall behind the crib. How exactly did you figure out how many boxes you could do and where to place the boards? I’m assuming you used a nail gun to nail them to the wall? Thanks so much! I’m looking to do this in my master bedroom!
Sara
Hi! My handyman actually did it. We measured out the wall, I drew out how many boxes we wanted and how I wanted it to look. Took the wall measurement divided how many boxes we wanted and subtracted the wood measurements, so we knew how far apart to space them. Home depot or lower will even cut the wood for you. First we smoothed the wall, then used a nail gun to attach the wood pieces. Hope that helps!
I really love your nursery. Thank you so much for sharing your work so the design challenged such as myself can get inspiration!
Aw thank you so much!
