I am all about a well styled kitchen! There are many ways to accessorize your kitchen all while keeping functionality in mind. I love to bring in seasonal items throughout the year that remind me of which season I am in since in Arizona you forget sometimes! The key to accessorizing your kitchen is to not make it too cluttered and keep it functional.
I personally am not one to display appliances such as a toaster, coffee pot, or blender on the counter with one exception my Kitchenaid. We actually had electrical put into our pantry to hide a lot of our appliances. A few things on the counter is fine as long as it doesn’t take away from your usable space!
1). Display a cookbook for the season
I love a good cookbook! Not only is it nice to have them on hand when you need dinner ideas there are also so many pretty cookbooks to display. I love to collect them and enjoy having different ones for the season.
It’s a Pleasure: Sweet Treats without Gluten, Dairy, and Refined Sugar
Clean Slate: A Cookbook and Guide: Reset Your Health, Detox Your Body, and Feel Your Best
2). Accessorize with some pretty towels
I like to change these out every season as well, add some pops of color with a towel.
3). Soap dispensers should be pretty
They are on display so they might as well look great!
4). Add some other elements
Such as a wood cutting board it’s functional and they look great.
I love these fun mugs and recipe holder I found at Anthropologie.
5). Good smelling candles are a must
Candles not only provide great mood lighting they also make your house smell great!
6). Add some flowers or greenery weekly
There is something about flowers that make my heart happy! They also add a nice pop of color and are fun for the season of the year!
Hope you all enjoyed these easy tips on accessorizing you kitchen!
