When I first moved into our home one of the things top on my bucket list were to redo the bathrooms. The bathroom was outdated and definitely not our style. The first bathroom to get remodeled was our guest bathroom. We are almost finished with our master bathroom and I can’t wait to share with you all! Both bathrooms have come a long ways. Through this process we learned how to save thousands on a bathroom remodel. We looked at ways we could cut costs and maintain our budget, here are the first areas we achieved that.
Steps to Save:
The bathroom before the remodel had cherry cabinets with granite tile countertops. The rest of the bathroom was extremely beige. The floors, counters, and paint were all beige. It really didn’t go with the rest of the style in our house so we decided to go with a cooler neutral color combination. By taking the above steps we were able to stay on track and get our guest bathroom done within budget!

What color did you use on the vanity cabinets? This remodel is stunning! Everything is so pretty 🙂
Thanks so much Darcy! We used Benjamin Moore Advance paint in Timberwolf
What type of paint did you use for the vanity? How did you paint it? Spray or brush? It’s beautiful!
Thanks so much Stephanie! In our guest bath we brushed the paint on. I recommend Benjamin Moore Advance paint it works great on cabinets!
What faucets are those from Home Depot? Love them!!!
Hi Kim! I just went on Home Depots site and it looks like they no longer carry them unfortunately. I found you a similar style though on Amazon.
