Today I am sharing my master bathroom remodel update! It is still a dusty mess but we are one step closer to finishing up. I wanted to create a space that went well with the style of our house and that felt like a modern retreat. We still have a ways to go but we should be finished in the next two weeks. See below the progress on our bathroom remodel update.
We decided to keep a charcoal navy, black, white, color scheme with brass and chrome, greenery, and some pops of colors in accessories. This is the bathroom before.
It wasn’t too bad it just needed a refresh. We are fortunately able to use the vanity, but we will be making new doors so that it has a more modern look. Fortunately the bathtub surround and the shower were recently redone so we are keeping those the same. The vanity will be painted Cheating Hearts by Benjamin Moore. I love this color so much. My friend Lauren Burn with Piece + Palette suggested this color for my front door and I love it so much!
Here’s the shower. It isn’t exactly what I would have picked but since it’s newly redone we will be keeping it. The herringbone in the shower will match the pattern in the floors since we are doing herringbone marble flooring.
The glass block window drive’s me crazy but I will be putting up a nice roman shade to cover it and still allow some light in. The countertops will be in a white and gray calcutta quartz.

The floors I found at Floor & Decor they are Cararra Marble 6×18“. I am so happy with how they are coming together. The floors were just grouted today. Next we are painting the vanity. The wainscoting will go in, countertops will be replaced, the lighting will be installed and then the wall will be skimmed for wallpaper.
I cannot wait to share with you all the reveal in the next few weeks. Here is my other bathroom remodel we completed a few months ago here.
Can’t wait to see the full reveal! Love the mood board and direction… modern and fresh!
