I absolutely love mixing metals! In my current home I have a mixture of champagne brass, brushed stainless steel, with some copper, and black accents. It is fun to switch it up and add a different element as opposed to all the metal matching in your home. I wanted to showcase some fun ways to incorporate different metal finishes in your own home and sharing my top five tips on how to make it happen!
How beautiful are these kitchen accessories in copper?

Love the way Becki Owens mixed these black pendants with brushed nickel hardware.
Five ways to incorporate different metals in your home:
1). Choose a metal theme in your kitchen accessories different than your cabinet hardware. It’s great to mix it up! I love the idea of copper kitchen accessories around stainless and vice versa.
2). It’s okay to have different metal in your lighting. Not every light in your home has to be the same metal. I wouldn’t recommend going overboard with different metals with every light but it’s okay to have two different metals and possibly adding some natural element as well.
3). Make your door hardware a statement and use it to showcase the mixed metals in your home.
4). Cabinet hardware does not need to match your appliances! Mix it up.
5). Add some fun accent tables or chairs with mixed metals and it’s okay to do so in the same room.
Here’s an example of how we mixed brass and stainless in my current kitchen. I listed below some fun kitchen accessories in different metals:
