I am so excited to share with you all the final reveal of my modern master bathroom remodel brought to you by Floor & Decor & Hudson Valley Lighting. This bathroom has come such a long ways from when we moved in. When we started the bathroom had pink and gray countertops, cabinet doors falling off the hinges, and mismatched beige tile. Fortunately, the shower had already been remodeled, however, the rest of the bathroom desperately needed some updates. Our goal in remodeling this space was to create a modern, relaxing retreat to get ready for the day in and wind down in the evening.

Before the remodel:
Our master bathroom before the remodel had beige mismatched tile and the cabinet doors were falling off the hinges. The previous owners had started the remodel but had only finished the shower. Thankfully it’s fairly neutral so we didn’t have to do anything with the shower. However the rest of the bathroom needed to be gutted. I wanted a space that was bright and cheery to get ready in and the perfect retreat to wind down in. As with the rest of my house, we wanted to create a modern space. We accented our navy charcoal vanity with brass and marble knobs and white Calcutta quartz countertops with brass accents.
Choosing the right flooring for your space is so important! Since I knew we wanted a dark vanity I wanted to add some contrast with marble floors. We chose to do marble herringbone floors. The flooring is from Floor & Decor. We love Floor & Decor because of their amazing tile and flooring selection along with their budget friendly prices. The coloring in the tile is white with gray veining. It’s absolutely beautiful in our space and makes such an impact and statement. I love that it looks high end without the expensive price tag. The tile is called Floor & Decor’s Carrara Milano Polished Marble Tile. I recommend the 6″x18″ tile for the herringbone pattern. I chose white grout with thin grout lines and we are so happy with our choice!
Remodel In Progress:
Lighting can make or break a room. When I designed this space I wanted to create an impact with the lighting. When we started the remodel we had the above the mirror vanity lighting and some recessed lighting. I chose a gorgeous chandelier above the tub from Hudson Valley Lighting called the Wellington chandelier. To say we are happy about the lighting would be an understatement. We absolutely love it! I love the brass with the lucite. It’s stunning without being too overpowering and it gives the prettiest soft glow in the room. I chose wall sconces from Hudson Valley Lighting’s Mitzi line called the Carrie sconce. I love the lighting it gives off and goes perfectly with our modern look and the Wellington chandelier.
You probably won’t believe but that’s the same vanity we started with! We kept the base, replaced the doors, drawer fronts, and added some fun brass and marble hardware. We painted it with Benjamin Moore Advance paint in Cheating Hearts. We decided to go with a three-inch thick edge on the quartz countertops to add to our modern look.
I love a good wallpaper statement wall. We went with a geometric wallpaper that suits our cheery modern remodel.

Where’s the wallpaper from?
Hi there! It’s from Burke Decor.
Gorgeous!
I am dong my bath right now and chose all Champagne Brass from Delta also. I am having a hard time finding a mirror and lighting to match the finish. Can you tell me where you found yours? Thanks a million!
Hi! Mine are CB2 and West Elm. It isn’t a perfect match. West Elm is closer than CB2. Hope that helps!
Hi there
Beautiful. I’m I doing similar in our MBA for resale. Sinks are easy but tub faucets in brushed gold are impossible to find in stock and matching/close to sinks via online right now. What tub faucet did you choose?
Thank you
Thank you! We did the Champagne Bronze Delta – Trinsic faucets. They are the perfect brass color. They do have tub faucets as well.
