Happy first week of November! Today, I am so excited to share my modern Thanksgiving tablescape & entertaining ideas with you all, along with some of my favorite bloggers. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays that is so special and near to my heart. Creating a beautiful tablescape is something that I love doing each year. I am also featuring amazing wine that is my go-to for entertaining and an easy appetizer for Thanksgiving. Hope you enjoy my modern Thanksgiving tablescape & entertaining ideas!

Modern Thanksgiving Tablescape & Entertaining Ideas:

Thanksgiving Tablescape Must-Haves:

Each year, I love creating a different spin on my holiday decor. It typically all starts with the dining room table. There are a few essentials in creating a beautiful modern Thanksgiving tablescape.

1). Placemats

I love these simple blue and white placemats with cloth napkins. Cloth napkins are always a nice touch to dress up your table.

2). Place settings

This year I chose pears with handwritten name cards tied with twine. It’s not only an inexpensive way to create a stand out place setting but you can also enjoy them later!

3). Foliage

I chose eucalyptus foliage with maroon colored flowers sprinkled throughout and placed my pumpkins on top.

4). Candles for mood lighting

You can never go wrong with tea lights and candlesticks for additional lighting. It’s an easy way to create warmth in your decor.

5). Pumpkins

I love layering pumpkins in different sizes and colors. I chose larger fairytale pumpkins with mini pumpkins sprinkled throughout.

6). Amazing wine

Decoy is my go-to wine for entertaining, it’s amazing wine at an attainable price point.

Simple Appetizer for Thanksgiving day:

Meat and cheese boards are the perfect snack for entertaining . They not only go with wine perfectly they are also super easy to make and if done right they look really nice as well! I typically pick out a few different options for meat, two different types of crackers, one to two cheeses, add fruit, almonds, and then garnish with rosemary.

Find Your Perfect Pairing:

I chose Decoy Sauvignon Blanc and their Red Wine. I absolutely love their refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. Their Red Wine is my go to and it’s the perfect red blend for the red wine drinker.
