Can you all believe it is almost the middle of October? That means Halloween is just around the corner along with Thanksgiving and Christmas all my favorite time of year! I love decorating for this time of year. I wanted to share some Halloween decor items that I added to my home from At Home. I tend to stay away from the scary Halloween decor with a toddler in my home but had fun decorating with other pieces that are still Halloween focused minus the scary. At Home had an incredible selection of items that are focused around Fall & Halloween in all different styles. A few of the Fall & Halloween necessities in my home are:
1). Lanterns
Lanterns are my favorite way to add mood lighting. They are a perfect touch and you can always switch them up depending on the season. At Home has the best lantern collection at an amazing price. I thought black lanterns were perfect with my Halloween decor.
2). Wreaths
Wreaths aren’t only for the outside of the door. I have one on the inside and outside and love the way it makes my home feel whether you are coming or going! This wreath was super affordable and fit perfect with my Halloween decor. At Home had one in lots of styles and color palettes!
3). Pumpkins & Hay for the porch
This one is obvious for fall, mix some real pumpkins in with fake pumpkins for some different color variations and add some lanterns for lighting! The hay bales were a simple easy touch as well.
4). Cobb Webs & Birds
These are my toddler friendly Halloween decor items. My daughter loves the birds and thinks the cobweb and faux spider is fun (even though the spiders are fake they still gives me the heeby jeebies)! The spider webs are only a few dollars, such a steal!
Hope you enjoyed these simple ways to transition your decor from fall to Halloween!
This post was sponsored by At Home, however all opinions are my own.
I love the lanterns! I need to add some to my home decor. I like the idea of non scary Halloween decor. I stay away fronhalloween decor because of my small girl. All good ideas! Thanks
