How To Accessorize Your Home With Pops Of Color

Happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing how to accessorize your home with pops of color. My good friend Jenn, who happens to be a fashionista will be sharing this week how to add some fun pops of colors through accessories for your wardrobe! Be sure to check out her post on Jenn Loyd Life & Style. It’s a perfect time of year to add pops of color in your home and wardrobe and there are so many fun ways you can achieve this. I tend to have a more neutral home, however I love adding pops of color in accessories. It’s a fun way to make a statement without being too overpowering. Sharing below my top 4 areas on how to accessorize your home with pops of color!

HOW TO ACCESSORIZE YOUR HOME WITH POPS OF COLOR:

I love being able to change out and incorporate colors through different home accessories. It is so much easier to change out accessories when you want to switch out your color scheme as opposed to furniture. I typically keep my furniture more on the neutral side especially since I love changing my color scheme regularly.

ART:

Art is a great way to add pops of color! I recommend picking colors that you love, as changing out art is a tad bit more expensive than some of my other suggestions below.

FALL FOR DIY

I had the amazing opportunity to have Emily Anne Farrell Art commission a painting for me this year. It was such a fun project. I went with more neutral colors. However, I absolutely love some of the fun colored paintings she has completed below. It was such a fun process being able to commission art, since I was able to work with her on picking out the color scheme. She is so talented!

PILLOWS:

Pillows are a fabulous way to add color, pattern, and different textures in your home. They are easy to change out with the season as well. I typically buy pillows that have a zipper close so it is easier to change out the covers with each season.

RUGS:

I love a fun colored rug! Rugs are a great way to tie in your color scheme and add a fun pop of color to a neutral space.
