Modern Living Room Makeover On A Budget: One Room Challenge Week 1
Happy Thursday! I am so excited it’s week one of the One Room Challenge. If you are just being introduced to the One Room Challenge it is a 6 week challenge where bloggers transform different spaces in their home. It is put on by Linda from Calling It Home. I will participating as a Guest Participant and will be showcasing my modern living room makeover on a budget into a beautiful space we can enjoy and entertain in! Modern Living Room Makeover On A Budget: One Room Challenge Week 1
Here is the blank canvas I am starting with! The items I currently have in the space is my buffet, which is floating on the wall, and a 48″ gold mirror. This wall and wood work have been a serious labor of love. I smoothed the wall out all by myself. It took me 6 hours on a Saturday. It was the best arm workout I have ever had -ha! My handyman who is amazing (if you live in Arizona let me know if you need one) installed the wood trim pieces. We love the simplicity of the wood with white paint. We really want to create a modern living room that we enjoy entertaining in so I can’t wait to show you all this transformation.
My Living Room Goals:
To create a space that is inviting, comfortable, chic, and a great space to entertain guests in.

Here is the design mood board I put together for this space. I want it to be modern, cozy, chic, with a little bit of a boho flair. I am going to incorporate neutrals with some fun pops of colors.
