Woohoo the one room challenge week four is here! I cannot wait to share with you all the final reveal. Those of you joining me this week, I am a guest host for the one room challenge and am going to be transforming my master bedroom into a relaxing retreat. The one room challenge is a twice a year event put on by Linda Weinstein with Calling It Home. The plans for my master bedroom are officially coming together. I am waiting on some furniture orders to arrive sometime next week. The room will be painted next week. There is still so much to do. The next few weeks are going to be a little crazy. Today I am sharing the items that have been ordered, a progress photo, and some inspiration. To follow along with the other designers and guest hosts click here. Follow along on social media with hashtag #oneroomchallenge .
1). Room design finalized
2). Furniture ordered
3). Cleared out old furniture
1). Paint the room/have wood work completed
2). Put together furniture
3). Finalize fabric for pillows & curtains
My room is still a blank slate but so excited for the items I will be receiving in the next week and for the transformation that is underway. My piece of advice when redoing a room is having a plan/vision of the room before you start ordering items. This way everything coordinates well. You can add fun accessories as you go but make sure all the larger key items fit into your vision.
