Hi friends! I am so excited to be a part of this fun blog tour put on by my talented friend Kelly from The Green Spring Home. Follow along with my some of my favorite bloggers who will be showcasing all different ways to celebrate and decorate for Valentine’s Day at home. If you are coming from Nicki’s blog A Tufted Life, welcome! I am so glad you joined me! I loved all the ideas Nicki put together for Valentine’s Day brunch at home! I will be sharing all the links for the Valentine’s Day blog home tour below so be sure to continue on to see what everyone else posted. My favorite meal is brunch, so naturally I had to share my ideas for a Valentine’s Day brunch at home.
If you have been following along my blog you know I love decorating for every holiday! My house growing up was always decked out for every holiday so I am continuing the tradition with my little ones. My husband and I have started the tradition of staying in for Valentine’s Day with our girls. We want them to be a part of our celebration and then we can have a nice date night the following weekend with just us (it’s always way cheaper and not as busy). I love making my hubby and girls feel special. My oldest daughter absolutely loves pancakes and all things brunch -she takes after me!
Some fun tradition’s we are incorporating on Valentine’s day is making little cards for the girls. We are going to put them in little mailboxes and read all the amazing things we love about them. I always want them to know how loved and amazing they are.
I love having different heights of candles in my tablescape, it brings warmth and ambience to any occasion.
Trader Joe’s is my go to for flowers. They always have amazing inexpensive flowers.
My daughter’s love language is pancakes! Okay not really but she loves them so much I make them regularly for her. I made mini pancakes with sprinkles. She loved them!
When my oldest is helping me in the kitchen my youngest daughter loves playing here (since she’s too little to help in the kitchen right now)! It’s so fun to have this right next to our kitchen. I don’t mind how it looks which is always an added bonus!
It wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without some sweet treats! I clearly didn’t make these but added the fun cupcake toppers. I fell in love with this blush sequin table runner that was under $20!
