7 Must Have Summer Staples For Your Backyard

Happy first week of June! It has officially hit triple digits in Arizona which means lots of pool time and enjoying our backyard in the evenings. While I am sharing today 7 Must Have Summer Staples for Your Backyard, my good friend Jenn with Jenn Loyd Life & Style is sharing summer swimwear staples. 7 MUST-HAVE SUMMER STAPLES FOR YOUR BACKYARD

1). SEATING AREA:

A must-have is a comfy seating area. You can switch it up with new pillows and blankets each season. This is a great way to do a fun refresh every year.

2). BACKYARD LIGHTING:

Backyard lighting is a must! String lights are beautiful and inexpensive to install. They add gorgeous ambiance in the evening.

3). LANTERNS

Lanterns are a staple at my house. I have different sets and colors that I switch out regularly. I love being able to light candles to give mood lighting.

4). DINING AREA

We love being able to enjoy dinner outdoors during the summer. The evenings are beautiful here and with our mood lighting, it’s such a fun space to entertain and enjoy meals together.

5). PLANTS

Depending on your climate, flowers, cactus, plants are always a must in your backyard! We love having different plants that fit our climate but add some greenery and variation in color. Plant for your seasons. We plant in pots for more seasonal plants and in the ground for ones that can tolerate the harsh summers here. I am linking some of my favorite planters below.

6). SHADE
